By God’s design, I was born into it as I grew up next door to my parent’s first nursing home. When I chose a different career path for a time as a school psychologist, I felt called back to the senior care industry in 2004. I enjoy working with people and families. I have an old soul.
Getting to see our staff grow in this industry has always been a favorite for me. When we have someone go from being an STNA to a Nurse or an Administrator it is very rewarding.
Visiting our staff and residents always reminds me of “why I do what I do.” When I forget, I need to leave my office and experience the people that live and work in senior care. Then I remember what a privilege it is to be able to serve others in this way.
I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and four girls. We like to swim, walk, and pretty much enjoy anything that involves the water.
