Senior healthcare has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My parents owned nursing homes and I helped out wherever and whenever it was possible. I remember going on trips with my father as a small child and already beginning to understand the importance of making a difference in people lives. Some of the first opportunities to help were buttering bread in the kitchens and playing bingo with residents. I really loved helping others and spending time with the residents.
When one of our homes (nursing centers) gets a deficiency-free survey, it makes me so proud! Perfect surveys are a result of the kind of teamwork we work for every day.
I love going to communities and talking with residents. It is amazing to hear some of their stories and to take a moment to enjoy them and where they have been in life.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, boating, fishing, OSU football games, and golfing.
