Why did you choose a career path in senior healthcare?
As a nurse, I spent most of my time in home care as a pediatric nurse. When I started at Arlingworth Home Care (now Capital Health Home Care – Dublin) I was given many opportunities for advancement. Those opportunities and education lead me to be on the other end of the care continuum in senior healthcare.
Name your best work moment.
There have been many memorable moments during my years with Capital Health Care Network. On several occasions families and patients have called to let me know how thankful they are that we were able to assist them in their time of need. Knowing that I have positively impacted someone’s life makes everything that I do worthwhile.
What do you look most forward to at work?
I enjoy educating our teams about how to improve service delivery to our patients, caregivers and families for the best possible outcomes. I love caring for people so working with the clinicians, the office staff and dealing with patients is all very rewarding to me.
Name some of your favorite things to do outside of work.
I love spending time with my family. We love visiting the zoo and any outdoor activities.
