Capital Health Care Network has a NEW addition to the team: Veronica Kunkel started with our company on May 8, 2017 as the new Corporate Director of Food & Nutrition Services. She brings with her 29 years of experience working in various clinical and management roles for healthcare organizations and food service distribution.

After graduating from the University of Kentucky in 1988, Veronica started her career in long term care in San Diego, CA working primarily with skilled nursing and sub-acute care and as a dietitian consultant for a variety of LTC, home health and hospice agencies. She has held several positions in sales and national account management with US Foods where she worked closely with healthcare customers on food quality, cost control and purchasing optimization. Most recently, Veronica worked with HCR ManorCare supporting both food service management and medical nutrition services.

We are excited to have Veronica as a part of our team and looking forward to working with her in growing our success and excellence with meal service and the dining experience for our residents.
