Why did you choose a career path in senior healthcare?
Choosing a career in senior healthcare has been very rewarding for me. I enjoy learning new lessons about life from the residents, community, and staff at The Oaks of West Kettering. I love seeing the gratitude firsthand from the residents and their families.
Name your best work moment.
My best work moments always occur when I am on the floor working hands-on with the residents. It is a very fulfilling experience for me. I can recall when a resident made a card for me and welcomed me to their home. That is a fond memory I have. It’s important to me that my residents are happy with the job I am doing for them.
What do you look most forward to at work?
I look forward to the challenging work of an Administrator. My day is never the same, and that atmosphere keeps me upbeat and moving. I enjoy helping be a part of positive outcomes and making a difference in the lives of others.
Name some of your favorite things to do outside of work.
I have a lot of favorites, as I enjoy staying busy. Some of them include reading, weightlifting, cooking, swimming, and decorating. My most favorite thing to do is spend time with my family.
