Terry Carr | Vice President of Operations
Why did you choose a career path in senior healthcare?
I thoroughly enjoy being around the senior population and doing my part in helping make a difference in their lives.
Name your best work moment.
My best work moment was when the Ohio Department of Health requested to use the facility that I was the administrator of to be a training site for the new QIS survey process at the time. Although it was nerve-racking, it went well; and as a result, CMS then contacted me to be a training site for Federal surveyors.
What do you look most forward to at work?
What I look most forward to at work is engaging and interacting with others; as well as helping build team chemistry and promoting a genuinely positive work environment. I also look forward to results and positive outcomes from the hard work put in by our team.
Name some of your favorite things to do outside of work.
I am a sports enthusiast. My father was a college basketball referee for over 30 years, so I was always around sports growing up. Golfing and being outside is very enjoyable for me as well. Most importantly to me though is spending time with my wife and two children (who both currently attend Bowling Green State University).
