Why did you choose a career path in senior healthcare?
I grew up with senior adults being an important part of my life because my parents owned and operated nursing homes and home health care agencies. I chose to continue to serve seniors with my degree in physical therapy. It has always been about helping seniors live the best life possible.
Name your best work moment.
I am delighted every time I learn that one of our homecare agencies has been recognized for exceeding recognized industry benchmarks for quality care and/or performance. Arlingworth Home Care (now Capital Health Home Care – Dublin) was recently recognized as a top 500 agency in the nation. That was very exciting!
What do you look most forward to at work?
Making a positive impact in the lives of the patients and families we serve. When we hear that one of our families or clients is happy with the services they received at one of our communities or agencies, it makes all the hard work that went into making that happen worthwhile.
Name some of your favorite things to do outside of work.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two kids. I also enjoy travel, golf and spending time outdoors.
